Onboarding and Access
Get Started
Upon registering for free to Ancel Security, you receive access to both our web-based user interface (UI) and a command-line interface (CLI) tool. You can test everything for 3 months completely free.
Flexible Usage
Use the web-based UI for irregular, manual data uploads. It's user-friendly and perfect for ad-hoc backup needs. Use the CLI for automated backups.
Data Encryption and Upload
Encryption
Both the UI and CLI encrypt your data using advanced asymmetric cryptography. This ensures that only you can decrypt and access your data; Ancel will never have the ability to read it.
Secure Transmission
Once encrypted, your data is sent to Ancel's highly secured reception service. Rest assured, the transmission is safeguarded against intrusions.
Data Handling and Storage
Temporary Holding
Upon arrival, your data resides temporarily in our reception service, ensuring it's not directly exposed to the internet.
Secure Transfer
The encrypted data is then transferred to Ancel Security's storage service, which is inaccessible from the internet and designed for maximum security.
Read-Only Storage
Your data is securely stored on read-only storage mediums, which means even if accessed, it cannot be altered.
Post-Storage Security
Data Deletion
Once safely stored, your data is deleted from both the reception and storage service servers, ensuring no lingering data exposure.
Regular Dispatch
Ancel Security can send a copy of the storage mediums to you regularly, allowing for offline backup and additional peace of mind.
In Case of Emergency
Fast Response
In the event of a ransom attack or data loss, the Ancel team acts swiftly to provide you with the latest version of your data.
